Castleknock Community Centre in Laurel Lodge is unique in the catchment area, as it is the only indoor facility available to the community and meets a diversity of needs.

The community centre was built in 1995 to promote the cultural and educational development of youth including the physical education and sporting activities and to develop and promote community facilities for the area.

The centre was financed by public subscription and is held in trust for the residents of its catchment area

The centre consists of a hall which can be split in two (by a partition) and two small meeting rooms, a reception and a coffee shop.
